In 2006, Dr. Talonda Thomas started teaching piano and voice lessons from her New York City apartment. Her passion for music education led her to work with the local Boys and Girls Club and public schools, bringing music programs to young talents. In 2013, New York Musician’s Center opened its first location in Bellmore, Long Island, NY.
Offering comprehensive music education tailored to individual needs and preferences, what began with no students has now grown to over 1,000 students taking weekly lessons in piano, voice, guitar, drums, and more. Our experienced instructors provide private one-on-one lessons in a fun and welcoming environment, catering to students of all ages and skill levels.
Our dedication to quality has made us the #1 choice for local music lessons, earning us the title of National Music School of the Year in 2015.
Today, we’ve expanded to offer music therapy programs. From foundational knowledge to ongoing education, we designed our training program to give you the necessary tools to launch and operate your own NYMC franchise.
Operational: New York Musician’s Center will provide our franchise partners with ongoing support in the areas of administrative procedures, customer-service techniques, accounting and administration.
Marketing: We will help you coordinate the development of consumer marketing plans and materials as well as digital SEO/SEM strategies to help franchisees leverage our award-winning brand.
Ongoing R & D: The New York Musician’s Center management team will continue to stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technology to promote unitlevel profitability.
