Julie Shanebrook founded ChillRx in 2015 after 11 years of debilitating back pain from herniated discs; after trying a multitude of medical and alternative interventions without improvement, she tried whole body cryotherapy. After 13 cryotherapy sessions she was permanently pain-free.
This business consists of a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to treating health conditions, injuries and aging with a brief but powerful application of extremely cold temperature to the skin. The brain perceives the cold as a challenge and triggers multiple beneficial responses throughout the body: the vascular, gastrointestinal, endocrine, pulmonary, circulatory and cognitive systems are all “upregulated,” leading to improvements in all bodily functions.
