The diverse backgrounds and unique skill sets of Buddy’s management team first came together in 2008 to launch the first location. The team has spent 10+ years building and managing Buddy’s and has since expanded the restaurant into a four-unit chain with each location thoughtfully placed in and around the Greater Philadelphia market. With the knowledge and operational experience gained from these ventures, Buddy’s next project is to expand the business via franchising.
Buddy’s has four locations that will create a diverse representation of the model to be franchised. Beyond that, the management team has an outstanding track record in the restaurant space.
The benchmark for a franchise company is an average return on investment of 15% in the second year of business. Buddy’s exceeds this mark, in addition to an owner/operator salary that year, with a projected return of 26.2% in the second year alone.
The Buddy’s model is operationally structured to run smoothly with part-time employees and a reasonable workload for an owner/ operator.
The Buddy’s model is certainly adaptable nationally. It will be dependent on a relatively affluent marketplace that has a high-end consumer market, but there are numerous markets across the U.S. that fit the profile of Buddy’s perfectly.

and experience with management. Someone who is outgoing and is motivated will also be a great fit for Buddy’s team. A franchise
owner, in general, should have strong sales abilities, high personal standards, and some experience in the business.
